Cyclone

I was planning a different post for today, but I’ve been struck by the news and images coming from the devastation caused by Cyclone Sidr (Category 4/5).  The events of the storm and its continuing aftermath are all too familiar from what we in the US experienced with Hurricane Katrina.  Chris Mooney at The Intersection (part of ScienceBlogs) was following the cyclone from early last week, and it’s eerie to read his words about the impending disaster as it was approaching the mainland.  Click here to read more and see how you can help.
